The spa offers a range of relaxing and therapeutic treatments to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The spa’s stunning design uses natural materials, including stone, wood and slate, to reflect the breathtaking natural beauty of the hotel’s surroundings. The relaxation areas, hot pools and saunas all offer superb views of the Great Sugar Loaf mountain. The hotel’s excellent business services include a business centre, high-speed wireless internet access, more than 10,000 square feet (929 m²) of meeting space and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.
Room information
With an average room size of 700 square feet (65 m²), the Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt boasts some of the largest hotel rooms in Ireland. Each room features the Ritz-Carlton signature bed linens and featherbeds, with complete non-allergenic bedding. All rooms have marble baths, separate Rainforest showers, separate toilets, double vanities and lighted make-up mirrors. The bathrooms come complete with soft, luxurious terry bathrobes and luxurious signature Ritz-Carlton toiletries and bathroom products. Every room has an electronic fingertip panel for controlling lighting, curtains and air conditioning. All rooms also boast interactive TVs with a recessed TV in the bathroom. All of the suites have a large sitting area or room, boasting an additional interactive TV. Rooms and suites with open fireplaces are available, as are rooms suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility. Rooms receive twice-daily housekeeping attention, including an evening turndown service.
Food & beverage
The hotel offers an impressive selection of fine dining options. Gordon Ramsay at Powerscourt offers a sumptous breakfast buffet and lunches and dinners daily. The restaurant offers an elegant setting with stunning views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. In the summer months, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on the large terrace. There are also 2 semi-private dining rooms. The Sugar Loaf offers casual dining in a sophisticated atmosphere, with sweeping views over the countryside. The Sugar Loaf bar offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, specialising in evening cocktails and wines by the glass. The Sugar Loaf Lounge offers a light breakfast served daily, as well as serving mouth-watering light dishes and snacks. You could also enjoy traditional Irish afternoon tea while admiring the superb views of the Wicklow landscape. The lounge boasts comfortable furnishings and real open fireplaces, making it a wonderful spot in which to relax. McGills serves authentic Irish fare and boasts an extensive list of Irish single malt whiskeys. Guests can also enjoy 24-hour in-room dining, with room service available round the clock.
Area information
Known as the Garden of Ireland, the county of Wicklow is famed for its many beautiful formal gardens. Dating back as far as 1731, Powerscourt Gardens include Italianate garden designs influenced by the terraces and formal features of Italian Renaissance villas. There are also Japanese gardens, a stunning walled garden with beautiful herbaceous borders and lots of peaceful surrounding woodland known as the Viscount’s Private Walk and American Garden. Wicklow has been the backdrop for several major motion pictures, including Excalibur and Braveheart and the county is also home to Ireland’s famous Ardmore Film Studios. Wicklow is a favourite spot for bikers and hikers, offering many beautiful trails through the mountains. The region is also home to Glendalough, the ancient monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin and is open to visitors year round. With the city of Dublin only 16 miles (25 km) north of the hotel, you can also quickly venture into the city for superb shopping or a taste of Irish nightlife. The city is also home to world-famous attractions such as the Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson Distillery, Trinity College and Dublin Castle.

The stunning spa and relaxation facilities include an exercise room, a state-of-the-art thermal suite and 20 treatment rooms, including 2 private spa suites, as well as the breathtaking 20-metre pool, lit with Swarovski crystals. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
