All of the rooms have been individually styled and decorated by interior designers Colliss & Quinton. Each contemporary boutique room has its own unique charm, combining beautiful original features with modern style and state-of-the-art comforts and facilities.

Food & beverage

Fronlas offers a full traditional cooked breakfast every day. All of the ingredients are organic and free-range and mainly sourced from mid and west Wales. Vegetarian and vegan options are available (and are cooked separately) and those with special dietary needs can be accommodated by prior request. There is an honesty bar, and a number of the drinks are locally produced, including Towy Valley beers from Ffos-y-Ffin Brewery; Penderyn single malt whisky, Brecon gin and vodka produced in the Brecon Beacons; as well as SòBor fruit smoothies, from nearby Carmarthen.

Area information

Colourful Llandeilo is a small, charming town on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The town is home to just 2,000 people but boasts some of the finest boutique shops in Wales. The restaurants and delicatessens of the Towy Valley have a superb reputation and the region is famous for its locally produced food, including Carmarthen Ham and local cheeses and beers. The area is also superb for outdoor pursuits, including fishing, cycling and walking, and even hot air ballooning. After a long day in the countryside, there is a bike and boot wash at Fronlas, as well as a drying room and a lock-up for your outdoor gear. Carmarthenshire is known as the Garden of Wales and the National Trust Dinefwr Park and Castle are just a 10-minute walk away, with the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney House and Gardens a short drive or cycle-ride away.

Travel information

By Train: Llandeilo Railway Station is on the Heart of Wales line and is just a 2-minute walk from Fronlas. When you get off the train, walk up the steps and you will see Thomas Street on the right-hand side. Fronlas is 50 metres further on, on the left-hand side. Carmarthen and Swansea are the nearest mainline railway stations. Should you require transfer from either station, please contact Fronlas directly, using the contact details supplied on your confirmation email. They will be happy to arrange transport for you. Parking: Parking is available on the street in front of the house and private parking is available at the rear.

With just 3 individually styled rooms, it combines the contemporary designer looks of a boutique hotel with the personal touches of a luxury bed and breakfast. All of the en suite rooms have Sony flat-screen TVs, DVD players and magnificent views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The beds feature crisp organic linen and luxury organic mattresses by Abaca. All of the natural stone bathrooms feature soft, fluffy bathrobes, and luxury toiletries from the White Company. Every bathroom has a rainwater shower and some have baths. The full English breakfasts are made using fresh, organic produce, locally sourced wherever possible.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 0 to 14 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
