Travel a few miles in any direction from Stornoway and you’ll find the treasures of Lewis. Close to the lighthouses at Tiumpan Head or the Butt of Lewis, you can view seabird colonies and migrating birds on passage - maybe even whales or dolphins.
Travel information
By car from the ferry terminal: - Follow signs into and through the town centre. By car from the airport: - Follow signs to Stornoway (about 8 to 10 minute's drive) and turn right into Matheson Road at the 2nd roundabout, just after the Council Offices. - Turn right at the roundabout at the end of Matheson Road, then continue past the Co-op superstore on your right. - Turn left at the second roundabout (toy and baby shop opposite) and the hotel is around 50 metres on your right.
