So, you fancy a trip to Rome, but have children in tow. Ok.. so Rome may not be the most baby –friendly of cities, but the Italians are extremely welcoming, especially with babies and toddlers.

Leave the heavy travel system at home, and take a light weight stroller, that should get you through the doors of this fabulous city. Older kids will find Rome fascinating, they can climb church domes, search for gladiators, discover secret passageways on the Angels and Demons Tour. You can rent a multi-person cycle (up to 6 people) and enjoy a ride around the beautiful Villa Borghese Park, with it fabulous museum and childrens areas.
To get around Rome with an itinerary that is short on duration but long on memories, purchase J. M. Pasquesi and Joan Marie Pasquesi, Rome with Kids book.
