It is one of the livelier areas but there are quieter resorts for that relaxing holiday. The main resort is Playa del Ingles, and is known for non-stop partying. If you have teenagers, this may be of interest. San Augustin and Maspalomas are the quieter resorts of Gran Canaria and are probably more suited for a family holiday.
Children of all ages will have lots of fun splashing around at Aqualand, or racing the family around the track at the Grand Karting Club. Watch the kids spinning on the rodeo or spinning after they have been on the rollercoaster at Holiday World.
