Your reviews

Algarve in June with our 1 year old We found the Algarve an ideal destination for family holiday with toddlers. We took our holiday with our 1 year old, staying at Alba Suites and resort. Having a two bed suite/apartment was ideal, as our boy could go to bed and we could freely use the lounge/ bedroom and terrace without disturbing him. The kitchen although not equipped, was fine for warming bottles and food. The apartment was in a quiet location with own sheltered beach and chill out bar for the evenings. The complex was nice, with a childrens’ play area and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was quite expensive to eat in all the time but there were two fabulous Portuguese restaurants a short drive away. Also Carvoeiro itself is not too far away with plenty of options. We found it really child friendly everywhere we went, and we visited most resorts along the coast. Our favourite beach was Praia de Luz as safe with a nice backdrop, and easily accessible by car ( most beaches are accessible by steps) and we liked the town of Lagos– would like to go back – so will definitely take our family on a holiday to the Algarve again....
