Things to do with children in Iceland

One of the best things to do is swim in. The public pools stay open well into the night and is an epicentre of activity. Head into the countryside as you try and catch a glimpse of the mysterious Northern Lights, nature’s version of a fireworks display. Younger children may enjoy a visit to the space-aged Perlan building which houses the semi-interactive Saga museum is located at the top of Oskjuhlid Hill, surrounded by man-made geyser which spouts every few minutes.
